"This is a great property to relax at, enjoy views, and enjoy the pool. It is about a 13 minute walk to town/ the beach. This makes it okay to walk in for a day of exploring and sitting on the beach, but too long for quick trips in and out of town. Walking home at night was okay, but isn't suggested after 9pm when it's better to get a taxi. "Do not stay in Taganga. I am currently here and this is the most miserable night of all my travels. Taganga used to be a quiet fishing village, now full of drugs, prostitutes, and loud parties. At 2am on a Monday night, a super loud party just started next to this hotel. Music so loud is vibrating the hotel. Suspect a gang and prostitutes. I just want a taxi to get out of Taganga but I would be afraid to go outside. There are much nicer places to stay in Colombia. I don't recommend Taganga. "
