"For a 3-star hotel, this was an incredibly lovely place to stay. It is quaint hotel with a lovely garden and a gorgeous dining room looking out at the garden. The bed was quite stiff (not like firm which is desirable) and strangely short. My husband's feet had to dangle beyond the bed. It is quite difficult to find and there is no sign outside. "

Unfortunately, Expedia advertised it as soundproof, but we were able to hear people talking outside the building on the opposite side of our room, along with a dog barking for almost an hour. "A spectacular stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. The &Tales hotel has excellent décor. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was very varied, with fresh, local produce. The custard tarts and homemade cake are irresistible. The location was convenient, within walking distance of all the main tourist attractions, including the castle. Easy parking in front of the hotel. I recommend it.
