"We recently stayed at this resort and had a mixed experience. The positives were definitely the friendly and welcoming staff, who were always pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. The beachfront location was beautiful, and having both a beach and a pool gave us plenty of options for relaxing. The happy hour was excellent and something we looked forward to each day. "Bedbugs!!! We stayed here one night prior to going to our luxury resort in Bora Bora. The wife and I stayed in separate beds. Three days later I developed horrible itching lesions that are consistent with bedbug bites. My wife never developed any and we stayed in the same bed at our subsequent resort. She never had any type of bite marks, do they must have been in my bed at this hotel. The timing works out."

"Beautiful and unique “hobbit cabins” in far south Tahiti… two warm pools, fish ponds, amazing flowers and foliage, fantastic sunsets, great breakfast. Be aware that the bungalows are open to the elements and there may be a short uphill walk from the parking lot. Nets are provided for the beds and we didn’t have a serious issue with bugs. There are also chickens wandering the grounds, which is fun."
