We had an excellent 7-day stay at the Taipei Sheraton. The hotel's location is ideal, and the service is very good. The housekeeping staff were outstanding. Friendly and efficient. The gym staff were also very friendly. Rooms are a bit dated but well maintained and very comfortable. Plenty of closet and storage space.

Staff are super friendly. We booked a two bed room online and when we checked in, we asked to see if we can have a single bed room. The staff put two full sized beds together into the biggest bed I ever see. The location is central in Taipei and a few minutes walk from the Taipei station. A subway station is right next to the hotel. A few super nice amenities: the breakfast buffet is super good and should try at least once. The top floor has a nice gym overlooking the surrounding area. Next to the gym is the sauna/steam room/hot tub, which the hotel guest can compliment access. The top floor has a Michelin 2 star restaurant and the food is really amazing.

The hotel is clean. The front desk staff are polite. The housekeeping staffs are working hard. However, we requested two additional sets of towel everyday were not communicated properly. We informed the front desk personnel as well as housekeeping staffs regarding our request with no prevail. On the forth day, I decided to take action by requesting a meeting with the manager. Finally, our request was materialized. We checked out on the sixth day. This is an embarrassment to the hotel. A five star hotel cannot communicate correctly.
