"The place is very pleasant. The baths are the star attraction plus of course the surroundings. The dinner that comes included is adequate for Japan (high standards). The breakfast not great (also common). There’s a coffee bar with high quality pour overs but that’s extra as is a couple of higher quality restaurants. There are also massage services."

"Nice hotel very close to the Mount Akadake cable car. Location is gorgeous, in the Sounkyo gorge area. The onsens look out onto the mountains and offer a spectacular view.
