"Many areas for all to enjoy. Rooms very comfortable. Even asked to by mattress topper as it was so comfortable. Some areas need maintenance such as Aqua Zone with rust and sharp edges. Great relaxing holiday
"Excellent resort, food was amazing with 8 restaurants and catered well for food allergies (gluten free). Very clean inside and out with friendly service. Pool access room was great for relaxing and there were plenty of activities for rainy days as well. Would definitely stay again."

The area doesn’t offer much to do except for seeing the rather run down and uninteresting Tsunami memorial and a couple of markets. The highlights are the pristine beaches and lovely ocean.

There is a really good restaurant next to the hotel called Cafe O which does excellent quality food at low cost and also provides a laundry service. There is also a small mini Mart by the hotel where you can stock up on water etc

We did not venture out much ourselves as was unsure of the area. Only went on organised trips. We did use rhe hotel shuttlebus once but didn't think there was much to do in the area & also the taxi fare can be really expensive.
