My friend and I had a great time at Dar Marnara. Said was very helpful in organizing our taxi and other things we wanted to do in Asilah. Staying in the Medina is highly recommended. We enjoyed the hotel roof top.

Ok hotel, not so great staff

The hotel itself was nice and the location was very convenient. However I found that the bathroom was not very clean and had a weird smell. The floors were very dirty, I wore slippers the whole time. The staff at the hotel wasn't great either. One of the men in the daytime had no information and wasn't helpful at all, whereas the other was very rude. When we were checking out we were running about 5 minutes late to catch our taxi and he came up about 3 times pointing at his watch to remind us that we were late and that if we weren't interested he could cancel the taxi, even though I repeatedly told him we were coming. He pretty much chased us out. Do not get the breakfast! Huge rip off. They charge you 40 dirhams for bread and jam. If you step right outside the gate (5 min walk) you can find plenty of little spots for breakfast (omelettes are about 15 dirham). As a general matter they seemed very cheap. For example, we were not offered tea when we came in (as is done everywhere else we had been), and when we asked for extra orange juice (for the breakfast we paid for) he seemed really annoyed and gave us half a glass.

酒店位置还可以，进入城门后可以电话老板来接，步行大约10分钟，老板一看就是个生意人，不知为啥不让我们用厨房，还有一早就让我们把行李都从房间拿出来，虽然我们是下午的火车

可能是Hotels.com的问题，致使老板并没有找到我们的订单。没有任何招待、没有茶水、没有甜点，一堆人傻呆呆坐在拥挤的客厅等着老板和Hotels.com沟通确认我们的订单。最后给了一间很小的房间。 老板一点儿也不热情。出门的时候要求我们把钥匙留在前台处，说是怕我们弄丢。

Very nice, authentic hotel with a lot of charm. Friendl staff. Nice location.
