Lovely B&B in Trappitello. A few minutes walk to the bus to take you to Taurmino. We found the bus easy to use and straightforward. This is a family run B&B and we found everyone to be so kind and helpful. Great communication on WhatsApp and helpful videos for check in. Great Sicilian breakfast for 7 euros. Would definitely stay here again. There is a really nice steakhouse, 5 minute walk. We found it very reasonable and food was delicious. We had the lamb! They have horse meat too but we didn’t have the nerve to try it!

Clean comfortable room. Quite a few narrow stairs to get down to our room which was right under the breakfast room, so woken at 7. Host was great, made nice coffee. The cute intelligent dog did meet and greet and showed us to our room.

Our hostess Paola was very accommodating and gave us many suggestions for anything we asked. The lavender room was very pleasant and relaxing. The bed however was too hard for me. The highlight is the amazing breakfast that Paolaakes from scratch and with love. Every type of italian dolce you can think of is on the table. It was heaven! Grazie Paola!

These people spoke Italian for the most part. I really like it here. the breakfast had homemade pastries and food that was exceptional as if you got it from the bakery. the variety of juices and types of milk and food was exceptional, especially at this price point. Right before we left we did have a toilet leak but it was when we were leaving, so it did not affect our time there. I definitely would recommend and return there.

No Love at all

Quite a dark room, the room is in the basement of a multi-family house, when someone in the house flushes the toilet screams, the same sound as a coffee machine frothing milk. The breakfast was only pastries, not föörskt bröd, not even toast

Very bad experience

We booked this B&B because we wanted to visit Taormina and everything there was too expensive. Unfortunately our stay there was bad. This is not a proper B&B but a warehouse in the basement of a big house (at least the room that we stayed). There were 4 locked doors (wooden slim internal ones) in our room that separated us from other rooms. This is why we could hear everything from the rest rooms, even people snoring as if they were right next to us. Additionally the mattress was uncomfortable and the sheets dirty. It was strange but the electrical main switches of all the rooms were inside ours (because as said, this is not meant to be a B&B, but a house/warehouse with many doors locked to separate rooms) and at some point during the night we woke up from the lights flashing and a siren in our room. There was also a hole on the ceiling of the bathroom, also we could the upper from (and the other way around most probably). In the morning we tried to explain everything to the owner, but it was impossible to communicate in English. I am very sorry but I can not recall any good memory from this experience. I would certainly not recommend it to anyone.

Sig.ra Paola gentilissima e molto disponibile, ottima colazione in struttura.
