Very windy town so the Sun can be deceptive, nice and cheap places to eat & drink, not a lot of spoken English but enough to get by. Lots of nice places to visit in and around Tarifa

"Great location, just outside the gate to old town. staff is lovely, helpful and friendly. Hotel is basic, room is basic. Bed is a little soft. It is very clean and you feel safe and comfortable but I am not sure I would choose it again"

Tarifa is a nice quiet town with pleasant people. It was very windy the week I visited and ideal for kite surfers. Although Tarifa is a nice place there isn’t an awful lot to do. Whale watching possible but cancelled due to wind.

I love tarifa, its just such a chill place, where i live i cant find clothes i like but Tarifa rocks for the boho style. Beaches are endless, camping, horses, nature trails, surfing etc

Very weather dependant. We went for the boat trip to see dolphins and whales but the weather was to windy for the boats to go out. Not a lot else to do if you don't have a car.
