"Good value for the price paid"

"Booked sea view room and was not disappointed. Well proportioned clean room with fridge. Pleased to see two chairs in the room (stays in other hotels have one) so we could sit and watch the sea and relax. Shout out to Maggie who checked us in who was excellent. Was impressed whilst waiting to check in with other reception staff who kept their cool whilst obviously having to deal with difficult guests. Keeping their smiles was impressive. Did not eat at hotel but did at Harry Rock which was excellent plus the Thai restaurant around the corner from the hotel which was also very good. Would definitely stay again off season. Thank you for a great stay."

"Ideally situated 5 mins from bus centre and about 10 mins from beach. Cosy lounge area with bar and food. Small selection but we enjoyed the curry. Room clean with lots of toiletries. Good selection for breakfast. Staff pleasant."

"Spotlessly clean room, excellent service from the room attendant Alison, also the handyman Alex was hugely helpful, doling out extra tea , coffee & milk on departure day. The chap on reception kindly allowed my friend to stay with me for the second night & was chatty & helpful, arranging taxis etc. Late check out was appreciated too, of course without extra fee! Yes, the hotel could use a lick of paint on the exterior, however the interior is very good, just needs a couple of scatter cushions to brighten the room up! Bottled water was shown in pics, yet not supplied, however when mentioned, i was given two complimentarybottles by Alison, i cannot praise her attentiveness enough. Excellent sea views, and i do like a bath and a shower, which my room had. Great experience, would stay again."
