The Tasman Glacier View is at the end of short but steep walk within New Zealand's Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park. The views of the glacier lake and its icebergs are fantastic enough but you can also take a boat or kayak trip onto the lake itself. From this higher vantage point though, you can get a perspective on how big some of these icebergs are compared to the tiny specks of the boats.
In this photo you see us paddle boarding next to an iceberg. This is in Tasman glacier lake in New Zealand. It's a 4 hour drive from queenstown and a 3 hour drive from Christchurch #BvSApplication.
We joined Glacier Explorers for a cruise on the Tasman Terminal. The tour leaves from Mount Cook Village. This cruise was a first hand eye opener to see the effects of global warming. Breathtaking (and chilly!!)
