The people of Sibutu in Tawi Tawi are known for their boat-making skills and craftsmanship. A finished boat is called a "lantsa". Tawi Tawi is also one of those places in southern Mindanao that is not on most tourists' bucketlist due to security matters. However, visiting Sibutu is possible with the guidance of competent local guides and clearance from the police. The people here are very hospitable, kind and eager to share their culture. #LocalSecrets #ItsMoreFunInThePhilippines #Adventure #culture #trovember #outdoors
