"The king studio room was relatively small but very well designed, had everything we needed for a long weekend, comfortable and had a couch for sitting, chatting which we preferred rather than a table + chairs If we stayed again would possibly opt for a partial or sea view as our room was close the air-con units we think and had a low hum during the late evening. The lift is ultra slow ( 1 floor hahaha ) but I guess that is the quirks of a beautiful Art Deco building. Quaint swap...

"Loved the location - view of the ocean, lots of lovely cafes nearby, right by the beach. We were in room 1, which was on the end downstairs and nice and quiet. Decent-sized, clean rooms. Loved the walk-in shower! The room had cutlery, utensils, crockery and microwave which was handy. Plenty of storage space. Easy parking. Bar and restaurant onsite so option for room service too. Would happily return! "

"Great little place to stay. The office receptionist is absolutely lovely. Nothings a problem. Parking is very tight behind the hotel. Better to park in the car park across the road. "

"The room smelt like cigarette smoke, the hand basin wasn’t wiped clean and there was pie pastry on the floor behind the bathroom door. The continental blanket on the single bed had awful marks on it as well. When I checked in they asked me to pay for a room I had pre-paid online."

"The spa bath was a bonus and was wonderful. Great layout and the motel were close to all amenities. The only thing that let it down was the little things that needed maintenance. If they checked regularly or get their cleaning staff to let management know of the repairs, then they can fix the issues. Like I said they were minor issues that they can easily fix and get a 5 star. I would still come back to this motel, and I still highly recommend them."

"Staff were kind and polite, and the cleaners do a good job but it’s very run down. Ripped carpet, holes in the walls, ripped wallpaper and chipped paint. Definitely needs work! Couch was stained and so were some of the bed covers. We won’t be staying again unfortunately."

"The property was nice and clean. House keeping comes everyday for clean towels and stock other stuffs. We also wake up to a beautiful sunset every morning."

"This hotel is gorgeous- the refurbishment is beautifully done and the room I had was really spacious. The bed was comfy and the kitchenette and barhroom were user-friendly and super clean. I will say the parking can be a bit of an issue, particularly if you have bags to drop off and because of the location ( the middle of the CBD) the street and traffic noise is really loud. If you dont mind street noise though its the perfect innercity stay."
