"We stayed at the Moat House on our way up north and again on our way back south. Both times were a great experience. The rooms are very comfortable with good showers - all our requests were catered to. My husband left his electric shaver behind and they are sending it back to us. We were not looking for formal dining in the main restaurant and The Bar Lounge menu turned out to be very good - special mention on the Mackerel Rillettes starter!! Head Chef James Cracknell was sent our grateful...

"Amazing experience, but the bed was very uncomfortable so both of us had poor sleep and woke up in pain. Otherwise can’t fault the place. Staff very friendly and plenty of drink options at the bar. "

"A simple hotel in the middle of Stourbridge. Rooms are adequate in size, the bed is comfortable and there's a good shower in the bathroom. There was a problem with my room but it got sorted quickly and the staff were excellent. Small changes in the bathroom would help - a shelf above the sink so there's somewhere to put your stuff and similarly a soap dish in the shower would be really useful."
