"The hotel was quaint and lovely. We enjoyed our stay very much. We sat at the tables in the lobby and played cards as the weather was rainy and cold when we visited. We got to watch the fog roll in and out along the shore from the wonderful windows in the lobby. The hotel is a little dated, but we didn't mind. It was clean and homey and perfect for our stay. I would highly recommend staying here."

"Everything was clean and ready. The bed was a bit firm for my liking. The door to our room made a decent amount of noise when other guests were utilizing the main door. The views were perfect. Towels and in-room amenities were all great."

"Staff was great, our room didn’t have a remote so they had to bring us a new tv and the heat lamp in the bathroom wouldn’t shut off.. there was also beard hairs in the bathroom sink from previous guests and change lost in the bed so not sure how good the cleaners do. Overall, I would stay there again!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Cascade Lodge! We loved the close proximity to Lake Superior and their private shoreline! We also ate at the restaurant and it was great-food and staff friendliness! There was even live music on the night we were there."

"The view was wonderful, and the staff was very helpful. There was a smoky odor in the room, either from the fireplaces in the other units or from the firepit outside. The floor plan of the bathroom in the third-floor room was odd. The open door blocked the sink. We had a little trouble figuring out the A/C controls, so the room was a little too warm. We greatly appreciated the free EV charging stations. They were never ICEd while we were there. We underestimated how tiring the 32 stair steps from the car to the room would be. Hiking to the high falls at Tettegouche State Park the day before (108 steps!) probably didn't help."
