"Absolutely wonderful stay! The location was perfect with walking distance to all, and around the corner from Largo Argentina. The room was very stylish and huge! Spotless and equipped with all amenities, and what truly made this place special was the hostess! She is the nicest person, so caring, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in her guests. Ursula went above and beyond in every way and made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. This place is truly a jam! Highly recommended."

"Our family of 5 (adults) loved the hotel. Great location & walkable to everything. Very easy walk across the bridge to Trastevere which we loved as well as walkable to most or of the sites. Great modern vibe and wonderful rooftop bar. Check in & staff were wonderful & very helpful. (Bar waitress was abit snippy & unfriendly but maybe a bad day…) Rooms were great in sz & modern. We would definitely stay here again."

"We enjoyed our stay! Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was our favorite thing. The cons: our room was fairly small and you had to step up another level to get into the bathroom. Because of this, in the middle of the night, my husband fell and cut his arm badly. The staff was very nice though, and tried to take care of the cut. It was hard to find the doors Into the hotel and the doors out of the hotel if that makes sense."

"It was hard to find. The place was under construction when we arrived, and we had to ask neighboring hotels for help to arrive. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom was very dirty. To it’s benefit, it was close to Trastevere and near a fleet of taxis."

"Room was large and the AC was perfect considering it was so hot during our stay. Convenient location and they gave us complimentary minibar access which was a nice extra perk. Would definitely stay here again when we go back to Rome!"

"Hotel Smeraldo is a hidden gem in a perfect Location to all the major sites. Restaurants we’re just steps away from hotel. All the staff were very accommodating and went out of their way to assist you. I would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Rome to stay there. Another huge plus is the rooftop bar and restaurant. "This is a hit or miss place. It was a big miss for us. The good: the location was great, 10 min walk to Colosium the apartment is also decent sized. The bad: the property management/maintainence is bad. We checked in and went for a bath, only to find no soap in the shower soap dispenser. The day after, the shower drain backed up and leaked water into the living room. It made the shoes and socks on the floor wet. We didnt bother reporting, as we had to head out for a tour and we were checking...

"Das Apartment ist hübsch sauber und ganz modern eingerichtet. Die Lage ist toll und es gibt wirklich nichts auszusetzen. Die Kommunikation war am Ende ganz toll und einfach Hand zu haben. Wir hatten nur das Pech, das bei Expedia erst die falsche Adresse genannt wurde . Das hat dann kurzfristig zu einem Missverständnis geführt. Es konnte sich dann aber klären, indem wir die Person, mit der ich die ganze Zeit in Kontakt war, die richtige Straße genannt hat, Alles in allem eine wunderbare Oase,...
