"This hotel was amazing!!! We had the best experience we could have asked for. Each night they arrange a different event for the guests, We had a BBQ on the beach one night and an acoustic performance finished with karaoke on our last night, which ended it perfectly. The staff were ever so helpful and attentive, as well as extremely friendly and welcoming. 5 stars and would definitely stay again!"

"Our stay at Hideout Element Eco Bamboo House was absolutely unforgettable. The bamboo architecture is stunning and the whole experience felt peaceful, unique, and connected to nature. Waking up to the sounds of the jungle and relaxing with the beautiful views made it feel like a true escape from busy life. The house was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with every detail adding to the magical atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the location was perfect for anyone looking to experience the natural beauty of Bali in a different way. "We recently stayed at Ohana’s Beachfront Resort & Beach Club and had a mixed experience. The general staff were kind and welcoming. However, our experience at the beach club changed how we felt about the property. A white bald man who appeared to be management repeatedly greeted and assisted other guests while making direct eye contact with us and choosing not to acknowledge us at all. This happened multiple times and was noticeable enough to feel like a pattern. As paying guests, this made us feel uncomfortable, disrespected, and unwelcome. The contrast in treatment was difficult to ignore, and we ended up leaving the sunset event early because it no longer felt enjoyable. We also observed young children in shared dining/lounge areas without clothing, which made us uncomfortable. Out of respect for privacy, we did not record this. This is not about one interaction but inconsistent treatment that affected our overall experience. We do have video documentation if management would like to review. We value spending our money where we feel respected, and unfortunately we would not return."

"The resort is absolutely fantastic. The staff will do anything to ensure you have a good stay. The free activities are incredible. Make sure you try yoga with the incredibly skilled Wayan and the walks with the activities coordinator are well worth it to see parts of the area you would not have seen. I had a 2 hour massage and scrub experience with Riki which was absolutely incredible and so reasonably priced. I recommend the spa !The only problem at the moment is what staff call ‘the conservation project’ which is in fact heavy machinery on the beach moving rocks to build a rock wall. They work from 8am to 9:30pm at night. I don’t doubt it is essential work but I would stay there once it is finished (this year according to staff) or just make sure you select your room carefully. I had to change rooms and the staff were empathetic and responsive to my concerns. The trouble is the construction moved to underneath my balcony on my last morning making the balcony unusuable. Besides this I would highly recommend Candi Beach Resort. "

"This is a fantastic experience, especially if visiting with children. We had a one-night stay in the Mara Safari Hotel, which was a stopover before moving onto Sanur. Unfortunately the rooms are incredibly tired and would benefit from a major refurbishment / freshen up. The food at the restaurant was great; however when it came to ordering dessert, almost all options were not available despite the hotel being very quiet. This was disappointing."
