"The Royal Motel Tenterfield appears to be a typical basic country motel but it has many special features, the staff were always helpful, the generous supplies of snacks and goodies - renewed daily - and the newly renovated bathrooms made it a standout. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The position in the town was excellent, just a little off the main road so little traffic noise and the motel is situated in the generous rear allotment of the hotel. "Very nice and clean, looks recently refurbished, old hotel. A shared self serve kitchen facility for snacks, hot drinks and breakfast was a pleasant surprise when only expecting a bed. Comfortable bed. A restaurant over the road. Pub downstairs with wood fires."
