"Clean room. Room didn’t smell bad. Air conditioning was working well and wasn’t loud. Beds were very clean and comfortable. Coffee and water was in the room for free. Staff was very friendly and accommodating."

"Beautiful, restored house in the historic district. Wonderful and helpful staff. It does not have an elevator because it is in the historic district but stairs are well lighted. Close to a wonderful cafe for breakfast and close to the port if you are going on a cruise."

"This was a good hotel for two nights prior to a cruise. They allow guests to park in their lot throughout the cruise with no additional cost, which is nice. The hotel is definitely a vintage traditional motel from back in the day, so there is wear and tear. Thankfully the rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. We were also in a beach-facing room which was nice. Note: they do not automatically have hairdryers in the room (I definitely panicked a little at first). When I called the office there said you have to request it. Thankfully that was a quick fix. Also, no iron or ironing board. We were able to borrow an iron, but still no ironing board. It was a good hotel for convenience to the beach and it has a nice pool with bar and restaurant, but I don’t know that I’d stay again due to location…I liked the downtown area a little better and will stay there next time. We did not eat the breakfast, so I can’t rate that. "

"This property needs serious updating from the rooms to dining experience . The major benefit to this hotel is the location . We were very disappointed in the dining and lack of quality options for a hotel this size . You could tell there was a staffing shortage with the long wait to get our bill . The food option was minimal and the quality of what was ordered was to be desired . The rooms although spacious was outdated. Our rooms had mold on the shower curtains, cracks in the bathroom walls and the bedding had red and brown stains on the sides . Overall , it was a fair stay. "

"There wasn’t a gym as indicated when I searched for a booked the property. The continental breakfast was very minimal. The staff was not welcoming when we arrived. The room was clean and the beds comfortable and it was close to restaurants and site seeing."

"Aaron, the Concierge, is great. We did a city tour with him and learned a lot about the city of Galveston. We also booked him to take us to the cruise port and had excellent drop off service. They even recommend a great ride service to and from the Houston airport with Shannon from the Saltwater Moms. Loved the breakfast service and French press coffee at the bed and breakfast as well. "
