"The only bad thing is that they charge $20 for early check in. I did not check in early. Otherwise place is close to The Stand (historic center of Galveston), check in was easy and the room is large and clean."

"We were pleasantly surprised with Moody Gardens Hotel! Honestly 1 of the nicest hotels we have stayed at. We took our toddler to Moody Gardens for a full day (which we highly recommend), so we decided to stay here for 2 nights (other hotels looked old/outdated online). It was a short walk, which allowed us to come back to the hotel if needed (nap/snacks, etc). It was clean (i didnt feel like i needed to wear house sandals, which i normally do at hotels). "The staff is awesome! One person in particular was Ms. Keanna. I was having a horrible day and she made it better. She put me in a room that was off from the other rooms. Overall I would say the facilities are nice. The room was very clean! I most definitely would stay here, again! "

"This was the cleanest, nicest inexpensive hotel I have ever stayed in! Now don’t get me wrong, it’s not the holiday inn, but there’s absolutely no reason you can’t make your money stretch further staying here! The staff was incredibly kind and friendly checking in and checking out. We stayed to get on a cruise ship this time, but I’d come back to pay that little to stay that close to the beach! "
