"The staff were wonderful. We were late in arriving but staff made the check-in process smooth and easy. We were in unit 1 which has a view of the bay and a wonderful outside sitting area with a bbq. Linens were nice and beds comfortable. The heat pump worked well when we needed air conditioning or heat. "We arrived at Hahei in the middle of a horrendous storm. Checkin was straight forward as was finding our garden view appartment. The accomodation was all a little dated, but none the less was well equiped, had everything you need, was clean and comfortable. We ate and drank at the Deck (on site food place/bar) for the 2 evenings we were there. The pizzas (gluten free bases available) and fish n chips we ate were great. "Well maintained property, close to Tairua town. The one bedroom unit had all amenities needed for a 3 night stay. Owner is friendly and communicative. We also got to use the bikes for free and I believe t hey also let you use kayaks for free. "

"Parking was easy. They asked if I wanted a big bed, as it was just me I said no, but a twin bed ended up being too small. When they ask if you want a big bed, say yes."
