"Great stay"

"Pretty basic with absolutely no atmosphere. Staff were unhelpful and at times rude. Rooms (we had two) were clean but dated. Buffet dinner was ok, but I suffered from an upset stomach. Wouldn't recommend this hotel having stayed at the Protea (a MUCH nicer, welll decorated, modern hotel) for the same price on our return. "

"The airport shuttle was dissapointing. I asked upon checkin if there was a need to sign up for the shuttle. The front desk said no. Next morning at 9 there were over 20 guests trying to take the shuttle. There is only one small shuttle for such a large hotel. I had to pay for an Uber to not miss my flight. The hotel should implement a sign up sheet for the shuttle."

"The hotel perfectly suited our needs for an overnight stay between flights. Comfortable room, enjoyable late night meal, & delicious breakfast buffet. Indoor accessibility to the airport was a big plus. And reasonably priced!"

"An oasis and a welcome unwind after a flight to Jo'burg. Everyone seems to be going somewhere the next day when they fly into Africa's largest airport. If looking for a quick overnight, Sunrock Guest House offers free shuttle service, a homemade breakfast, and comfortable guest quarters. As an added treat, the grounds offer beautiful water features surrounded by sculptures and tropical foliage, a relaxing way to end a long travel day."

"We dis not have breakfast. Check in took a long time. Staff was there (in a nearby reception) watched as the line grew and did not call anyone to accelerate process. I sent a message to the hotel to indicate I planned to have something delivered and inquiring if they could receive it. 60 hours passed by and they did not reply. I ordered it anyway. I received a message from the courrier that it was delivered. Upon arriving called the front desk to ask for it. They said they would check and get back to me (they never did). The following day I went down to the reception and only then they looked for it and found it."
