I'd researched Florida looking for places to photograph and somewhere along the way this one popped up as a place to view wildlife. I'm so pleased I did. I shot everything from dragonflies to alligators and saw many birds I'd never heard of before, llike this triple coloured heron. It's free and you can't get lost and, when I was there, it was free of children. The trails are simple to follow and, if you're interested in wildlife, you could easily spend 3-5 hours here.
This place is famous for its huge gators. I've been there several times and have always seen some. This guy, however, is an exceptionally large dude. I cut my hike short and let him sit in the sun.
