"Overall visit was good. Breakfast was great and enjoyed the bar - staff very friendly, calm vibe. Room was lovely but bathroom was not the cleanest - some hair left in bath and skim of soap on the bathroom floor made it slippery even when not wet. Arrived as linen truck was loading/unloading and resulting in blocking of driveway so getting in and unloading luggage was a minor hassle. Comfy bed, good amenities and breakfast staff helpful and friendly."
"Will never stay here again! No reception staff so need to check in on an App which you have to download and follow a link. Took 2 phone calls to get the link to check in; then you have to provide a copy of your licence and credit card details (and they take a $1 to check it is legit) with no assurance where the info will be store or used for. Parking limited and no lift at all and no one to help with luggage. Room needed maintenance; light switch on bed lamp broken; vertical blinds don't slide and panel broken; no tube in light above coffee making area so very dark resulting in a wine glass being broken when it slipped off the bench and my friend's hand being badly scolded when making tea and overflowed the cup (jug didn't pour well either)! Pools very small and spa needed maintenance. No shower or toilet nearby. At least there were pool towels.
"Restaurant" is just a few tables and chairs on a landing with a lift up takeaway style kitchen; chef very grumpy trying to run it on his own; we had to wait 15 mins to place our order and the told had sold out of the special pasta dish even though had only been open half an hour! My rissoles arrived with just mashed potato and gravy when supposed to be with veg. Many other guests were unhappy with service (or lack of it) and frankly if it wasn't close to the airport I doubt anyone would stay there. "
"The room was terrible.
No bath towels provided, had to go to reception to get some. Something crawled over us in the night, turned the light on to find cockroaches crawling over the floor.
Long black hair through the linen, even the extra blanket had cigarette burns.. a years worth of dust under the bed, no shampoo or conditioner provided. Spider cobwebs in the bathroom, the balcony was covered in moss and was slippery (unusable).
We were only there for one night, stop over from our honeymoon before our next flight home.
Did not get any sleep at all.
We provided feedback to the staff in the morning and left.
Will not be coming back !"
"After a long international flight, the necessity to check in on a machine was very unwelcome! Then I had to grapple with another machine in order to book a shuttle ride back to the terminal. The staff member did his best to offer help, but by then I was in no mood to face another interaction with a machine.
I chose to stay in this hotel- the most expensive option in airport hotels- expecting to receive a 5 star experience. What I got was a very bland (though spotlessly clean) room- an Ibis experience, except Ibis would have provided a cheerful human check-in.
I won’t be choosing this option next time I have to overnight in Brisbane Airport."
"Nice unit with amenities and undercover parking. We had a ground floor unit but there is a lift available to some of the upstairs units.
Friendly staff."
