"Fantastic beachfront location with stunning ocean views and easy access to the beach, cafés, and local attractions. The apartment was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Waking up to the sound of the waves was a highlight. A great place for a weekend getaway, and I'd happily stay here again."
"Did a solo overnight stay to capture the sunset at Long Jetty and the sunrise at Crackneck Lookout and the location is well located to access both by car within 15min.
The rooms are dated, but clean. I stayed in the one bedroom loft and it had everything I needed for the night and more. Kitchen with oven, microwave, stove, washing machine and dryer, balcony, shower.
Getting the ocean view room is a must, the views are absolutely amazing.
Location wise, you are at the doorstep to go on the Coast to Lake walk, with eateries along the strip. I was there on a weeknight but it seems that on the weekends, there's a local carnival set up as well as free Pelican talks that happen so it'll be more lively on the weekend I assume.
There is the option of parking in the open public car park which is just across the road, or you can pay $20 for the hotel carpark. I opted for the paid parking given that I was going to go in and out a bit and didn't want to bother trying to find a new parking space (though there are plenty).
Overall, if you are wanting location over luxury, this is a good choice. I would actually choose to stay here again for the views alone"
"I called asked for a free upgrade when I was 1/2 hour away from the hotel. I was told there was nothing available. All good, I thought I would just ask. We went to the room. It really isn’t an ocean view it’s a view of a body of water. A bit disappointed. I also wasn’t convinced that there were no free upgrades available as the hotel was very quiet."
"Perfectly situated for a stop over on our trip. Clean warm & comfortable, with a unique breakfast ordering system . Cheers thanks everyone at waterview. Will stop again."
"This hotel is a cut above in all aspects, the helpful, friendly and professional staff, the great rooms, top location and facilities.
The standard of room fittings and furniture is excellent, classy and a bit funky, TV and internet access very straightforward, bottled water provided (in cans, so less plastic and recyclable) lighting easy to work out, great shower and comfy bed.
I didn't have breakfast or dine in, so can't comment on that.
Can't think of a single fault though, and can't recommend highly enough :)"
