"Only a very average room but nothing you would complain about. A bit small but not too unusual. Clean.
Contact with staff was always friendly and helpful.
Parking overall was good although was a little cluttered in our area. Rooms 10-13 and upper rooms 20-24 couldn't park near their doors so in some cases you had to park your car a short distance away. If you are the type of person who likes to monitor your car then that could be a problem.
The price was the second highest of the four places we stayed on the Gaspe and you got a very average experience for that price. The road we were on was full of other hotels and motels and a quick check of their room costs shows that they are around the same price. So if you wanted a larger room or larger hotel experience then you could find it for at least the same cost elsewhere.
Having said that, I think they did have a small swimming pool which we did not use so it might have features that others might like.
So no real complaint other than a little pricey for the room."
"Friendly staff, our room was clean, great location for travelling and nice that they had a pool for some fun and relaxation with the kids after driving all day. Beds were comfortable, the room amenities were pretty average but I did appreciate they had a nespresso machine. Steak frites on special at the restaurant was a bonus, pretty solid food there."
"We had a nice 2-night stay with our 3-year-old. The rooms were clean, the bathroom was nicely updated, and having a balcony was a great perk. The pool is heated, which was fantastic given the cooler weather during our trip.
Complimentary breakfast is always a plus with kids—there were eggs, bacon, sausage, various bread options, and yogurt. The only downside was the coffee (it was pretty terrible), but thankfully the Starbucks across the street saved the day!
My only real issue was the noise insulation. We stayed on the lower floor of the main building and could hear almost everything from the hallway and adjoining rooms. Unfortunately, we were woken up at midnight the first night by a screaming toddler."
"It's a cute motel and was very clean. Staff was very sweet and helpful with suggestions for restaurants
Love R-d-L - such a cute town and beautiful waterfront."
"Had a great stay! The room was immaculate, all amenities were great. Loved the common area, perfect spot for a coupe pints and cards. Will definitely stay again on the next trip out east."
