"This was our 4th stay at the 7 Gables Inn and we stayed in the Rocky Shores (RKS) room located on the top floor of the Beach House building, 37 steps up from the sidewalk to our room. The RKS room provides a complete panoramic and unobstructed view of Monterey Bay and Lover's Point. "

"Such a wonderful place to stay on our road trip from San Francisco to San Diego! Missed the wine and cheese party by 5 minutes, but the gracious front desk agent and happy hour host gave us a complimentary glass of wine 🙂 after our 6-7 hour drive. The "continental breakfast" was far better than most "breakfast buffets"! There were made to order waffles, premade omelets, sausage links, oatmeal, cereals, fruits, coffee, juices, bagels, breads, muffins, and more- delicious! The rooms were spacious with multiple outles, coffee station, fridge, safe, renovated bathroom, cozy seating area, unexpected balcony, and UNEXPECTED fireplace with a timer. Just too many more things to list. Great, helpful, friendly staff. Good location. Definitely recommend this place!"

"This was by far the cutest hotel we stayed in during our recent California trip. We stayed in the third floor in a surprisingly large space. It’s an older hotel (was a boarding house in a past life), but it’s in a quiet neighborhood, close to good restaurants, and a short walk to the beach park. Would absolutely stay here again. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. "
