"Quite unique and interesting villa in a quaint little village worth the drive but the grounds around the villa are not looked after at all, the pond with goldfish in it was green and not working, the other pond was even worse. Very limited kitchen facilities, clothes washer and dishwasher smelled moldy, beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. The Dog next door barked a lot all hours of the day and night. "Wir waren nach unserer Wanderung durch die Samaria Schlucht für eine Nacht dort und es war alles hervorragend. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon zum Meer raus und haben so noch den Sonnenuntergang genießen können. Es ist von der Ausstattung her nicht modern, aber sauber und hat Stil und Charme und alles was man benötigt. Das WLAN war auch schnell und stabil. Am nächsten Morgen wurde uns ein tolles Frühstück auf der Terrasse serviert. Wir waren vom Preis Leistungsverhältnis mehr als begeistert....

So we walked to the old Chania from the hotel. We had a rental car and they had a parking lot for hotel guests with extra charge so it was super convenient for us. We also had breakfast buffet every morning. Oh My goodness. It was one of my favorite breakfast buffets! They use fresh and high quality ingredients from Crete local farms. And...

Our original room had stairs which might be difficult for us to navigate at night so they changed our room. The new room wasn't immediately available but they quickly finished the cleaning for us.
