"It is a nice and cozy, but spacious enough studio where we stayed a perfect night after 3 camping nights. The lady was so kind and drove back to the office to check us in who booked the hotel at the last minute."

"The Tálknafjörður Guesthouse was a very convenient stop in the Westfjords with a beautiful view over the fjord. The room was large and well equipped with linens, blackout shades, and even a TV. There was a kitchen that guests could use and it was very convenient to have breakfast available. The staff could have been more observant and quick to replenish breakfast items and clear tables. Check-in was super easy as guests' first names and room numbers were listed by the door. "

"Sehr hübsches und sauberes Gästehaus, das Zimmer und das Badezimmer waren sehr sauber. Toller Ausblick auf den Hafen, Frühstücksbuffet war lecker, Check-in war jederzeit möglich und hat super funktioniert. Wir waren sehr zufrieden."

"The hotel room we had was quite small. We had a queen and twin bunk beds. Not much extra space to move around. What helped a lot was the shared living area on our floor for units to share. There was a table and chairs that we used to eat dinner and play games. The included breakfast was excellent! It is in the main hotel but it is so close by. "

"This guesthouse will bring you back into another timeline. There are so many interesting history pictures and pieces on the walls, it’s really neat to see. It’s a lovely old building that reminds me of anyone’s grandparents house. With it being older though, it’s a little outdated and not in the greatest shape. The carpets are quite dirty and stained but we had no problem wearing socks and just looking past it. The shower and bathrooms are quite small. There are plenty of common areas and places...
