"Looks like the property has been recently upgraded Rooms were very good, clean, newly upgraded. Staff were miserable. At check in it appeared we were inconvenienceing them. Over three days only saw the breakfast girl smile. One day the cleaners did not close the room door properly so it was left open, unlocked. When I spoke with the cleaner they just shrugged. Have stayed in other Monte Carlos in the past and they were excellent. Don't know what was up with this staff."

"The hotel was in need of a refresh/renovation. The room was large but dark. There were not enough lamps. Refrigerator was a good size. No microwave. Bathroom was very clean but dated. You entered from the outside like a motel. The door was not very secure. You could see light coming in all around the door. The hotel was located on the lake but had no beach. There was a very large floating deck where you could sit and enjoy the sunset. The included breakfast was adequate, not much variety. The best part of the stay was the staff. We had a few issues that were dealt with promptly, efficiently and with a smile."

"This hotel is one year old and in great shape. Laundry room has one washer and one dryer, $2 each and hours are 8-8. breakfast was good, wafflemakers, scrambled eggs, one day there was bacon and the next day there was sausage. The pool was warm and clean. The driveway is hard to find though, you have to go through the plaza parking lot."
