"We booked to stay as it was near to Wadhurst Castle where we were attending a wedding. The room was The Yew and Eye. Spotlessly clean and a lovely area out the front to sit and enjoy a drink. Very quirky but charming. The welcome at reception and talk through in the room was excellent. The young lady even took a few moments out of her very busy day to give us a brief history of the pub. The bar was busy but well staffed. Breakfast was ample , fresh and most welcome"

I was particularly touched when the chef made an off menu option for my autistic son as he was unable to manage any of the listed items. The rooms were beautifully set out and the bed was so comfortable. I usually struggle to sleep away from home but not here. "We didnt get to use the facilities propeas we got there late evening and left before breakfast. However, checking in was a pleasure. The room amazing, downstairs king size bed with 2 singles upstairs. Bathroom was lovely, pristine clean. "
