"Room was spotless. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I wish we could’ve stayed longer but due to weather we had to leave to avoid the big storm one suggestion even though it’s a five star excellent review, two comfortable chairs, small table and turn the meditation room into a closet for clothing hanging closet,I was too Claustrophobic to take advantage. Thanks again for a good time."

"Southern charm, historic, with great hospitality. Staff was helpful, courteous and friendly. Each floor had it's own history from its founding to the Civil War and beyond. Rooms had some original features along with modern bathrooms and amenities. Full complimentary breakfasts and late afternoon wine and cheese offerings. I highly recommend The Marshall House. "

"Absolutely loved it! Wish we stayed more than one night. Staff was amazing. We were an hour or so down the road and we got a call from the front desk. The cleaning staff found my wife had forgotten her diamond pendant and chain behind. They are shipping it to us. Definitely above and beyond. The common areas were great. We met some other guests that were quite friendly and entertaining. Will definitely come back and stay a long weekend next time we are in town. "

"On arrival the lady at the front desk was very helpful and friendly, the lobby is lovely and parking is right outside which is a plus as this is right on the Main Street across from the river walk, location was excellent and within walking distance of the river walk and downtown, there is an onsite bar and restaurant with a complimentary drink to use before 10pm on the night of our stay. "This B&B is very beautiful. We stayed in the Live Oak room on the second flooor and it was lovely, with a large furnished balcony . Bed very comfortable. Met a few couples from different places and had nice conversations over a sherry wine and happy hour bites ( delicious) every night sitting at the living room with the cozy fireplace. "We always stay here at New Year’s, the concierge has great knowledge of the city and wonderful suggestions, pleasant staff, easy check-in, rooms are always comfortable and clean, in a busy city somehow it’s quiet inside so we sleep well, close to River Street and all of the restaurants, good breakfast in the morning, and even the small bar for some adult beverages!"

"Clean room, staff, and amenities were all wonderful. The indoor pool was an absolute gift for my pregnant daughter-in-law. Didn’t get to sample the breakfast bar because had to be at Savannah Memorial Hospital at 4:00 a.m., but I’m sure it was great."
