"Great hotel, in a great location. Would definitely stay here again. My one complaint was the hot water situation. The water is WAY too hot, I mean like hot enough to be dangerous especially to a young child or an elderly person. Hot enough to burn your skin. And unfortunately, when I turned the temperature down in the shower so it wouldn’t burn me, then the water pressure was basically nonexistent. So it’s either hot enough to burn your skin, or you get to shower in a trickle of water. I hope there is a solution for this."

"Great location right on the beach, across the street from restaurants, shopping, and more. The place is old, and has some definite wear - our carpets looked old, but not dirty, thank goodness, but most of our electrical sockets wouldn't even hold a plug so charging our phones or laptop was difficult. Our room didn't even have a main light, and two of the lamps didn't work. Luckily, the big west-facing window (overlooking the beach and the sunset) provided plenty of natural light. The mini kitchen was adequate, stocked with enough silverware etc for four people, but with a stove and microwave, a slightly bigger fridge would have been nice. The place was quiet, the beds comfortable, and the ice maker down the stairs worked just fine :)"

"We can’t praise Kate and her hotel enough! She was hospitable and flexible with check in. The rooms were charming and fun. Wheeler is quaint and adorable, just like its historic hotel."

"The room was very clean, ready and quiet, even though it’s close to the highway. The front desk staff was very helpful in telling us where to find good eats. There’s a good little fridge in the room, but no coffee maker. That’d be a nice step up."
