"Don't let the unique look of this hotel dissuade you from staying! This is one of those hotels that has character and charm. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique french experience. The room was clean and had a private bathroom. "The room had clean sheets but the top throw had holes in it and didn’t look that clean. The tap was hanging off the sink in the room.There was only 1 of 4 toilets working on our floor the others were locked off. The toilet that was working had a very dirty floor and there was no sink or soap anywhere to was your hands. I decided that showering was not an option as that was dirty too. I understand it was very cheap, but I would not recommend it. Cleanliness should be applied. The man on reception...

"Very enjoyable stay----friendly staff,nice room with an open,tranquil aspect. The resto was good,excellent cooking,all at a very good price. BUT during the night we were eaten alive by mosquitos!! At one stage in the middle of the night we had to wage war on them! Not their fault of course----we would love to go again but hopefully out of mossie season & with a tube of bite cream!"
