"This was such a welcome change from the hotels we’d been in nights before. Mary was an absolutely wonderful hostess. We picked up wine, cheese and bread before arriving and sat in the courtyard of the barn. Piper, the family cat, stayed close and enjoyed the ear scratches. We sat in the loft of the barn in the evening and enjoyed the cosy comfort and the wifi. We walked the trail around the property. A little forest bath before bed. The hut was comfortable….perfect really. Breakfast in the common area was perfect for us as well…homemade sourdough bread, farm fresh boiled eggs, lovely selection of healthy cereals, preserves, French press coffee and fresh fruit. Washrooms…..so well done. Large and well-equipped. This is really a unique and special place and you get to stay there for a very reasonable price."
