"The location was good and the property manager communicated well, and that was all of the "good" I could find. Moldy smell, wifi didn't work. Curtains falling off, and the worst was no sheets, just a mattress cover and there was a hair on the pillow. Needless to say I left. I did not stay. If you have any mobility issues at all, not good. The stairs to the loft bed steep. There is a sign stating to back down. Would not recommend"

"The staff were less than helpful, There was no car parking anywhere near the hotel. It was student accommodation and not suitable for mature aged travellers. We chose not to stay here and found another motel."

"Leider war unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel sehr enttäuschend. Wir sind mit unserem sechs Monate alten Baby angereist und hatten im Voraus ein Babybett bestellt. Bei unserer Ankunft war dieses jedoch nicht vorbereitet bzw. gar nicht bereitgestellt, was nach einer langen Anreise mit einem Säugling besonders ärgerlich war. Wir haben es erst nach der ersten Nacht bekommen. Das Zimmer befand sich zudem in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Es roch stark muffig und wirkte insgesamt heruntergekommen....

"We really loved our stay at The Dean in Cork. The hotel had a fun, stylish feel and the room had several great touches. The shower was excellent, the minibar had a great selection, and we enjoyed using the vintage-style radio to connect our phone and play music. We also stopped by the rooftop for breakfast, which was a great way to start the day. "We stayed in an apartment. It was very spacious and had a washer/dryer, which was great… after we figured it out! We enjoyed the terrace for drinks and appr and had breakfast twice. All enjoyable. We didn’t use any of the spa /gym facilities, as we were there to see Cork and the surrounding region. "This is a small flat on the top floor of a terrace house. Yes you can see the river just past the plumbers merchant yard and the industrial estate on the opposite bank. Access is via a very noisy shared stair case. First impressions on entering is a place which needs some upgrading and lacks furnishing - COSY it is not. "Wonderful newer hotel close to the cool MacCurtain Street area. Walking distance to pretty much everything. The room cleaning was hit or miss - not bad just not what we expected. Staff was excellent!"
