"A very nice place. Room was good as was expected. The entire staff was friendly enough including the manager. There was delightfully unexpected entertainment for each of the 2 nights spent, karaoke and movie nights. Food available during movie night was very good. I particularly enjoyed the light music throughout the day. The property is without an elevator and so I was able to manage my calorie level given that I was on the last floor. I absolutely enjoyed my visit."

"Everyone is so welcoming here . Jay was above and beyond providing great communication with all the information needed to prepare for the stay, and his mom Angela is very warm and kind and cooks amazing meals, I loved all the fresh whole foods and juices . The location is a perfect base for doing the Blue Mountain peak hike. There is also a river that you can hike to and swim in. They also grow and sell their own coffee! The guesthouse is only reachable by 4wd, if you don’t have that they can arrange a ride/ pick you up . I was able to take my rental sedan as close as Hagley gap but coming from Portland there were parts of the mountain roads that were pretty sketchy, having to ford a river and go up a pretty steep hill. It might not be passable if it’s been raining. Also Google Maps directions had some errors. Driving to/from Kingston the roads are much better."

"Loved that it was Eco friendly. Manager was on site and staff were so accommodating. Property is in the process of being renovated and added to but we were happy and comfortable in our room as it was one that was already redone. Looking forward to our next stay 🙏❤️"

"Sea cliff's property was beautiful and my partner and I have an amazing time on the quiet property. The rooms were clean and the housekeeping came every morning. We do wish the air conditioner was more efficient and cooled the entire room, it only cooled one side. The lunch/dinner was great, it was a little expensive than usual. Free breakfast is included and that was a big plus. The staff was super attentive to our needs and super respectful."

"My family and I spent one night over our 4 day adventure in Portland. Our first time experiencing an eco-tourism type of accommodation. It was amazing. We stayed in the Fig Tree hut and all I can say is it is the best room of the house. They are undergoing some renovation but no disruption to our stay. The front desk staff, Tania was pleasant and accommodating with a late checkout. She even took it upon herself to verify if we wanted to place a dinner order to the kitchen prior to closure. We would visit again."

"I have stay here before and was very happy they could accommodate my family and I.. We booked another accommodation which was not as advertised… Breakfast is on point and with a wide choice. Room was clean and smells clean too… Great location to pop into town or to Boston beach… I will be back.. "
