Clean and Comfy

The room was very comfortable and clean and the proprietor was very friendly and responsive. It is within walking distance of the old town area.FYI: The room is on the fourth floor and there is no elevator. You must parked on the street, and a space can be hard to find. This can be fairly long walk, as well.

Cozy, convenient hotel with good breakfast

Although our hotel room was cozy, clean and modern looking, and situated within a few minutes walk from the old downtown section, what we especially liked was our host. Alesandre is very friendly and enthusiastic about the city he lives in. He quickly filled us in on places we must see, and what to enjoy in the local area. If we return, this is definately a hotel we will stay in again. BTW, he loves biking. If you bring a bike, he will happily allow you to use his workshop to do some maintenance.

Visita a Tivoli

Location vicino alla stazione con quello che comporta per via del rumore. Padrone di casa super gentile e disponibile. Camera pulita e colazione buona. Parcheggio nelle vicinanze .

Un tuffo nella storia, nella natura, nel bello.

Centrale la collocazione, vicino alla stazione, ottima l'accoglienza , la gentilezzae le indicazioni per visitare tivoli, camera confortevole, piccolo il box doccia, peccato che le camere e la sala per la colazione sono su due edifici diversi con relative scale, ma la colazione è ottima.

Tivoli’s great B&B

A great stay if you are good one stairs otherwise avoid. Excellent position for arriving by train and the car. We parked in the station car park overnight which is free. The walk into the Centre of Tivoli is not far and the Villa D’Este gardens are lovely and the walk around Villa Gregoroiana very up and down and step in places but a great experience. Our host was very informative about what to see and do and provided maps and recommendations re eating which we took and were not disappointed. Breakfast was delicious with home made cakes. Would stay again if in the area.

This was an excellent property to explore Tivoli from. Alessandro the host was extremely helpful with directions, suggestions for dinner etc. I highly recommend II Vecchio Treno Rooms & Guest Houses on your next trip to Italy.

Great spot for visiting Tivoli

Alessandro is a wonderful host. He takes the time to offer advice for the local area on check in and will quickly learn how you take your coffee at breakfast. The B&B is 350m from the close edge of town and about a 15 minute walk from the far of edge.

Tivoli getaway

The place was amazing. The owner was super attentive. The area is great, we even got a free upgrade, and a discount at a local restaurant for staying in this particular hotel. The area is safe, and the gardens nearby are beautiful.

Fantastic Stay

Fantastic hospitality - plenty of recommendations where to go and what to eat. Our room was perfect and breakfast each day was lovely. Definitely recommend staying here. Only thing to note is it's much closer to the station than it is to the town center - it's still not far from town though, and as long as you are comfy doing a ~10min walk down and up some decent hills, you'll be fine.

The host was extremely helpful and friendly. Helped us with parking our rental car, unloading the luggage, and with information about what to see and where to eat. Busy street but was quiet inside.

No elevator to room on 4th floor, no close by parking either. Owner very nice but I only stayed one night night and didn't stay for breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable though. I am a senior so didn't work for me.

Na hora da chegada precisei contar com a ajuda de outra pessoa para chamar pelo telefone, pois a campainha da recepção não atendia. A estadia foi OK com atendimento atenciosos quarto bem limpo e uma boa ducha.

Value for money and worth every cent!

Alessandro was, as everybody has been raving to date, a great host who made us feel at home from the moment he greeted us at the front door. I’ll definitely recommend him and his accommodation to all my friends. There appears to be a lot of renovating being done all over the show in the area -!which bodes well for them in the future as the train station is literally around the corner. That said, we hardly heard any related noises at night either. All main tourists attractions are within a comfortable walking distance - another plus! There is a water point on the corner of the street - pure, fresh and cold... no need for bottled water! If needed, topup your own and go! So many pluses!
