Such a unique boutique hotel. Check-in was with a sweet little señora. This is the hotel my Mexican grandfather could have built. Remember that this is a small rural town, and you will love and appreciate this hotel.

This quaint hotel is in an ideal location for those staying in Tlalpujahua! It is an old Spanish colonial-style building and is extremely charming. There were only two negatives that I found: it does need a little TLC on small things, such as the broken lampshades in our room. And there was some mold in the grout around the tiles in the bathroom. Not a lot, not on the floor, but if you are sensitive to this kind of thing, it is something to be aware of. But our bed was very comfortable and we had plenty of blankets for the cold night! The young lady in reception was very friendly and the common areas were delightful! I would definitely stay there again. One thing to be aware of: THEY DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS!!! If you pay for your room through Expedia when you make your reservation, you are fine, but be prepared to bring cash or make a transfer from your Mexican bank account if you don't.

La reservación es en otro edificio, no en las fotos que marca la propiedad, nos dieron las llaves equivocadas y tardaron un siglo en responder para darnos las correctas. En el segundo día nunca salió agua caliente y el personal sumamente grosero que ellos no podían hacer nada

El personal extremadamente amable, siempre al tanto de nuestra estadía. No tuvimos Wi-Fi en la habitación que habíamos reservado, pero fuera de eso nos ayudaron con muchas cosas. La locación inmejorable, en verdad. La habitación era amplia, limpia y con mucha personalidad. Volveríamos sin problemas.

Lamento comentar que llegando al hotel nos indicaron que nuestra habitación estaba en otro edificio, es decir en una casona que estaba a una calle, nos llevaron pero en general el lugar estaba totalmente abandonado, empolvado, no había agua y tomamos la decisión de irnos del lugar así que salimos a buscar otro alojamiento, las personas encargadas del lugar deberían empeñarse más en el mantenimiento, no volveré a reservar ese hotel OYO Hotel El Mineral en Tlalpujahua, no fuimos los únicos, otra pareja también se fué de ahí, es lamentable
