"We stayed here for one night during our trip to Sweden, and it was a wonderful experience. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We had many interesting conversations about a variety of topics, which made our stay even more memorable. They went out of their way to help us in every possible way and were always kind and attentive. The traditional food they prepared was absolutely amazing and gave us a great taste of the local culture. We highly...

Top Tornio Valley Hotel Reviews

Arctic SnowHotel & Glass Igloos

10/10 Excellent

"Enjoyed staying in the igloo. Staff very helpful. Used a great local taxi (arranged by reception) to get around as uber declined to pick us up. There’s not much to do in the immediate vicinity but easy to get to Santa village and town centre. We stayed when there was no snow and snow hotel was not built, so will return in the snowy season to see it."

Hotel Aakenus

8/10 Good

"Förmånligt boende 400 m från centrum, 250 m från köpcentrum. Bra med parkering, bra bastu och skön säng. Det negativa var badrummet där duschen inte hade något skydd så vattnet flöt runt hela utrymmet och man måste lägga handduken på golvet för att vistas "torrskodd" där. Frukosten i normal/enklare format."

Kotimaailma Apartments Siljotie

8/10 Good

"We did not receive the details to enter the apartment till we called them up on reaching the apartment which was very inconvenient as there are many apartments and the name on them is different from what was there in the booking. We wasted a lot of time trying to locate it and get the checkin details standing in the cold outside, so the starting experience was not good at all. The apartment is very nice and the location good. However, we found it difficult to use the oven as there were no oven gloves or aluminium foil, we wern't sure if any of the dishes were oven proof. There is a washing machine but no detergent. When we asked them for it they asked us to come to their office which was 2 km away instead of delivering it or making sure everything required was available in the apartment in the first place, so their processes need some looking into! There was salt and oil only provided, no sugar, tea, coffee or creamers! We didn't find any shops closeby!"
