"The hotel was passable and staff were nice enough but it needs updating and a deep clean, paint and repairs in all common areas. The furniture in the room was old and worn down. The beds are doubles not queens. Pillows were half sized. In-room supplies were poor quality and skimpy. The hotel was about $30 cheaper than any hotel in Toronto proper and I was trying to stay in the city on a budget, but having stayed there I wouldn’t go back. I’d spend $30+ more and feel like I got my money’s worth in a modern hotel closer to downtown, instead of spending $200 and feeling like I stayed in a hotel in the middle of nowhere that hadn’t seen an update since 1992. "

"This is a very busy downtown hotel. Excellent location for downtown activities such as art galleries, museums, etc. During our stay, one restaurant was open since other facilities were under renovation. Friendly efficient staff."
