"The hotel was passable and staff were nice enough but it needs updating and a deep clean, paint and repairs in all common areas. The furniture in the room was old and worn down. The beds are doubles not queens. Pillows were half sized. In-room supplies were poor quality and skimpy. The hotel was about $30 cheaper than any hotel in Toronto proper and I was trying to stay in the city on a budget, but having stayed there I wouldn’t go back. I’d spend $30+ more and feel like I got my money’s worth in a modern hotel closer to downtown, instead of spending $200 and feeling like I stayed in a hotel in the middle of nowhere that hadn’t seen an update since 1992.
