"We had no reservation although we had made one through hotels.com but were still able to get a room. Check-in was at a gas station nearby. Very small room but clean. A horrendous storm came through minutes after we got to the room, knocking power out for several hours . No restaurant open in this small town but the gas station, hotel owner let us get some food and we can pay in the morning. Very kind. "

What’s a holiday rental in Torquay like?
Holiday rentals are private properties where you can stay for a few weeks, or just a few days, in Torquay. Holiday rentals feature extras such as patios, hot tubs and fire pits so you'll feel just like you're staying in your own home. If you're concerned about cleanliness, holiday rentals can offer a sense of safety away from public hotel lifts and lobbies packed with people while still allowing you a great travel experience. You'll also have more space in a holiday rental than in a traditional hotel, which is another reason why a holiday rental is a great choice for family trips.
