Arriving late with Expedia not providing a phone number the check in was a simple phone call and a fun conversation providing key codes to enter our room. The property is lovely and conveniently located for all White Mountain and Southern Maine attractions."

"We stayed one night on our way to Bar Harbor. The room was clean, the mattress was very comfortable, and the shower…was the BEST! Water pressure was great and hot water galore! So many times you go to a hotel and the water pressure/shower head just lacks enough punch to wash the shampoo out of your hair….not at this hotel! *****one happy customer and we will be back!"

"The cottages were awesome! Such a great option for travelers that don’t want to share walls and hear their neighbors. The office staff are friendly and helpful and let me check in a few hours early. Perfect location to all the shopping!"

"This motel was clean and updated. The paint was fresh and the floors in the room were new and clean - no rugs which was nice. There were 2 nice Adirondack chairs and a little table outside on the porch. There was no shampoo or conditioners in the bathrooms, so pack your own. Linens could have been nicer. Thin and small bath towels, thin comforters, and I wish I brought my own pillow. It was a beautiful location and convenient to the shops and restaurants. Overall, this was a good stop for our visit to southern Maine. Not far from Freeport, Kennebunkport, and Portland. We went for the Freeport Arts and Crafts festival and the location worked out well for us."

"Oh my gosh I can’t say enough positive things about this place (staff mostly) My fiancé and I stayed here a few weeks ago and I booked it for his birthday. I was messaging the staff ahead of time and they actually asked what his name was so they could write a card. When we walked in there was a hand written card, along with little rose petals, candles, a couples game to play, and more. Those special touches meant the world to me. It was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed to have an unplugged relaxing night. It’s the most unique place I’ve stayed and truly allows you to relax. Thank you so much to the team"

"Such a fun experience for my family. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Because it's Maine in Sept, nights were in the high 40s, which was too cold for our infant. The staff brought us two space heaters for the night to keep us cosy. I plan to stay at another huttopia location in the future."
