"Quick easy stay nice hotel"

"To be clear, I am 76 years old and have stayed in hotels from the East Coast to the West Coast and NEVER had such a terrible experience as I did at the La Quinta Inn by Wyndham in Binghamton - Johnson City New York. I checked in around 3:30 PM on Friday, April 24, 2026. I retired to bed around 11 PM and was just falling asleep when I heard a thump at my door. I went to the door to discover that the door latch was not in the same closed position I left it in. I proceeded to close the latch again and went back to bed. I now heard a banging at my door and went to see what the problem was. I asked who it was and was told it was the desk clerk from the hotel and he was angry. He evidently tried to get into my room with the pass key but couldn’t because of the latch. I opened the door as far as the latch would allow me to and saw the desk clerk on the other side. Yelling at me, he said I must evacuate the room because it wasn’t my room. (the room I was given a key to enter when I checked in from a different desk clerk). I told the person that I have my check-in paper work and I do in fact belong in that room. The yelling intensified but I said I wasn’t about to leave the room and that I was in bed at that time. The obstinate hotel clerk kept yelling but I said that I wasn’t about to leave the room that I was checked in to and that it was very late. He finally left after attempting to enter the room with the key card but couldn’t because I kept the latch in place. He fin"

"Stay here for a get together with friends. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to the Broome County Forum theater and not have to worry about parking. There are so many great restaurants also within walking distance. The hotel smelled great as soon as we walked in. The staff was friendly and was able to answer questions about the area for us. The pool look very inviting and the gym had weights available. The hotel was fully booked for the weekend, yet it wasn’t overly loud. It was raining out, so we went to the hotel buffet for breakfast. They had a wide variety of food options and even had gluten free bagels. We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises."

"Everything was great except the continental breakfast. Muffins ,bagels ,oranges,apples cereal ,milk coffee ,hard boiled eggs. That’s all. "

"Beautiful property. Breakfast was delicious. Room was small but beautiful. Lovely fireplace. Unfortunately the mattress was very hard and the bed creaked when you got off and it was high. Did not sleep well."

"We always stay here when we are in the area since our daughter attends school here, the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Price is great when compared to other hotels especially when Binghamton has events ."

"Located in Beruit by the condition of the lot. The coffee machine was broken. The TV screen was blocked with an annoying “ log in here” screen every 10 min and the manager couldn’t remedy.. Bed was comfortable."
