We made a stop over in Tranås as we travelled through Sweden. The room was fine, clean, the bed comfortable, the breakfast good. BUT noone told us when booking or on our arrival that Wednesday night in July was party /DJ club night, and our room was over the restaurant. We could not sleep due to the heavy beat and constant rhythm. Would have avoided staying there if we had known.

The breakfast menu was great! A perfect Swedish breakfast. Two negatives: 1. Parking - we arrived after the front desk was closed (Sunday early evening). For an English speaking guest, the rules for parking were a little bit confusing. 2. It is customary in the United States to have bathroom washcloths. We miss those in Europe.

Even if Expedia lists that parking on premises is included: It is NOT! There there are a few public spots down the hill that are free of charge from 6p-9a - so either you checkout early or you have to pay for parking.

Huge problem, no proper heating in the room and total neglection from staff, how can one stay in a hotel without heating and without staff proper response?

Hotellet ligger mycket centralt .
