"My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. Don't wear sliders on your feet when trying to do the fire or else you will slip on the mud which is hilarious to a teenager btw. Hot tub takes about 4 hours to...

"We get there and there's no key code for the key box because someone lost a key and reception wouldn't give us a key. Had to wait u til someone answered the phone at the number provided. When we finally got it unlocked we couldn't lock the door again. No sheets. No pillow cases. Not even toilet paper. No mention that we had to bring our own."

"We loved our stay here! Clean and had a great sleep. Brilliant price for somewhere to stay close to York. Carpark was a little full and some bad parking meant it was a space down, but not the owners fault. Highly recommend for an affordable cute little getaway! Would definitely return"
