"A beautiful, older resort in the low season which could use some refurbishing and additional wait-staff. It's quiet, out of the way and was once gorgeous. Now it needs a coat of varnish. The hot water in the shower works very well, if you can figure out how to manipulate the faucet. The main restaurant needs more servers, so things like silverware aren't forgotten when the food is brought out.The bottom line: it's quiet, and like stepping into a few hundred years ago. "Nice hotel for couples with friendly staff. The main building is all in wood with unique style and has nice pools for each room. I think these rooms are best. Staff including Sonya were helpful in fixing small issues. Gym better than before but could have a bit more weights and bench. Both pools nice. Breakfast nice. On nice part of clean beach. "
