"Had an excellent time at La Tillaie! Beautiful, large, comfortable rooms and a very welcoming host. Olivier went out of his way to look after us and even cooked an early dinner for our toddler every evening. Merci pour tout !"

"Super interesting place to stay. New bathrooms. Very clean. Nice staff. Decent breakfast. Rooms have very basic amenities - not surprising given the place’s origin, but there isn’t even any soap in the bathrooms - no way to wash your hands except to use the mystery bottle of body wash (?) in the shower. The place isn’t expensive, so basic is fine, but maybe a few more amenities (like some soap, tissue, an extra towel or two) would be nice?"

"Riding 5 motorcycles down to the Dordogne so for us it was a very good stopover. Super clean and tidy , very secure and we had a pleasant evening meal in the dining area, very good value."

"Clean rooms most of the staff were pleasant and friendly. Close to beach (across the road). Bars restaurants all in easy reach. Excellent Boulangerie close by for coffee and croissants. "

"Good position and ok for overnight stop. Room a bit small but clean & comfortable bed. Decoration a bit quirky & retro but good facilities, shower etc. good location. Parking a bit of a lottery as only 11/2 hrs at a time next to hotel. "

"Great spa and hotel with good sea views. Great location near a good beach too! "
