"Hotel super limpio y cómodo. Las instalaciones son impresionantes. Decoradas con mucho gusto. La habitación era muy amplia y agradable. Es ideal para pasar más de un día porque puedes disfrutar de verdad del hotel. El personal muy educado y agradable. El buffet de desayuno muy completo en un salón muy agradable, cómodo, espacioso y muy bien decorado. El mejor hotel de la zona. Ofrecen servicio de cenas en un ambiente muy acogedor. Ojalá todos los hoteles fueran así. "
"Did not receive the check in code and property manager was reluctant to assist. Not all rooms have a Mountain View (mine looked at another building). The room is small, as in the distance between the bed and one wall was about the side of a paperback book (~8 inches), another wall about 2.5 feet, and between the bed and third wall/bathroom about 3 feet. There is no closet, no place to put a suitcase. It's clean and functional. "
"We booked the separate cabin which gave us an extra seating area and large window overlooking the golf course. The room was simple and tasteful. Very comfortable! Love the heated floors in the bathroom and enjoyed the outdoor hot tub. Breakfast was good. Recommend this hotel. "
"What a lovely stay at this beautiful home and property. Gorgeous area to hike and see Icelandic horses. Close to things - hot springs, horseback riding, waterfalls. The owner is a gem and was so available to answer all of our questions about the area. We even got to meet some horses up close and personal. We will be back. House was awesome and accommodated our family of 6! Clean and lovely!"
"Hotel was beautiful and most of staff was very friendly. The one girl in restaurant seemed to not know her much about wines etc. Asked her what a delicious wine was and she said just some Iceland wine. Asked her in the morning about some delicious wafers and she seemed put off and she didn’t know. The place is down a pretty rough road is come from the national park. If coming from Bogarnes not bad. Highly recommend!"
"Hotel was modern & good. But they could be a bit flexible in allowing guests to access to a microwave- people come from all over the world & may have dietary restrictions (no option for dining other than their own restaurant)
The receptionist told us we will have to pay for the spa even though we had free spa access- having booked thru’ Expedia. We did not go to the spa so don’t know about it "
"This was the nicest place we stayed on our 11 day trip this year. The staff was very welcoming and the "apartment" room was fully set up with a kitchen, refrigerator, wonderful bed and private bath. The parking was right outside and the owner herself welcomed and showed me the room. Hope to be by again someday!"
