"This is a very unique hotel, it has a real 70s vibe however, don't get me wrong it also has a real charm. From the elevator down to the beach, to the tropical plants, to the hand paintings to the live music at night. Very quaint. Dinners and breakfasts were good as well. I did find they didn't speak much English and catered more to older German clients. Oh and it does have a nice view of Stromboli at night "

"Honestly, the quality of the facilities just weren’t very nice and the logistics to get in and out of the room more challenging to say the least. The breakfast was good but the room had the worst mattresses I’ve ever slept off. The linens all need to be upgraded, the shower is the smallest shower ever. "

The description says there is a beach, there is no beach on property or walkable. We had an amazing dinner at Portale nearby recommended and arranged by owner. Amazing dinner but no real town to walk about. This is a great place if you have a car and want to explore nearby beaches. Close to the train station.
